Work Environment\n

This position is conducted remotely, providing the flexibility to work from home while contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere. While the primary hours of operation are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of our patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, mental health status, and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), helping clients navigate their trauma and build coping mechanisms.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, fostering emotional regulation, and enhancing interpersonal skills.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care and address all aspects of a patient's well-being.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, sharing knowledge and strategies to enhance trauma-informed care practices across the organization.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating new insights into therapeutic methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting trauma survivors, including individuals grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The therapist will engage with a diverse clientele, appreciating their unique backgrounds and experiences while tailoring interventions to meet their specific needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills characterized by empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach.

• Proficient in EHR systems and general computer applications, ensuring efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-affected populations in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
