Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to thoroughly understand patients’ unique experiences and craft tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that consider the cultural, social, and personal backgrounds of individual clients.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support and resources during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, potential treatment approaches, and available community resources, fostering informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions focused on cultural competency and best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and approaches that emphasize cultural competence.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy relevant to diverse populations using inclusive therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
