Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to gauge the needs of each child or adolescent client, integrating developmental psychology and family dynamics into evaluations.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, tailored to the specific mental health concerns of young patients, employing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, or mindfulness techniques.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions that address a diverse array of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support and strategies during mental health emergencies involving young clients.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment plans, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with federal regulations and ethical standards, ensuring accurate client records through our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Actively participate in professional development and contribute to team growth through knowledge sharing, staying updated on the latest research and trends in pediatric mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents, ages 5 to 18, who are facing various emotional and psychological challenges. Engaging with young clients requires a compassionate and child-centered approach, where building rapport is essential to effective treatment. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current and valid licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
