Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide mental health therapy from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients through our telehealth platform. You will work within a supportive and collaborative team environment, attending regular virtual meetings and consultations to share insights and developments in the geriatric field. Our flexible schedule accommodates a Monday to Friday routine, primarily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments specific to older adults, taking into account their cognitive, emotional, and physical health needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to the complexities of aging, considering social support and community resources.

• Provide evidence-based therapy interventions, including individual and family counseling, designed to alleviate symptoms associated with geriatric psychiatric disorders.

• Collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and integration of care.

• Deliver crisis intervention when necessary, offering timely support to elderly patients and their families during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and family members on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work specifically with the geriatric population, focusing on the mental health challenges prevalent in older adults. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a patient-centered approach.

• Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth tools for effective client management.

• Capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing valuable insights and strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
