Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and establish individualized treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at New Patterns Therapy, you'll be working with a diverse client base. Your caseload will include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to employ a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to the specific needs of each client, fostering a supportive and effective healing environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Valid California licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• At least two years of direct experience in a clinical mental health setting.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based practices, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Comfort and experience with EHR systems for client management.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience with telehealth practices or virtual counseling is highly desired. Additionally, proficiency in providing therapy to specific populations, such as adolescents or couples, will be considered an asset.
