Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to ascertain clients' substance use history, mental health background, and readiness for change.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address both immediate addiction issues and underlying mental health conditions, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based methods.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage self-discovery and skill development, using appropriate therapeutic modalities.

• Collaborate closely with other treatment providers, including psychiatric professionals and support staff, ensuring a cohesive treatment approach that meets each client’s unique needs.

• Educate and involve family members in the recovery process, offering resources and strategies to support their loved ones effectively.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who are experiencing challenges related to substance use disorders. Many of these individuals may also be grappling with co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma-related disorders. Your role is not only to guide them through their addiction recovery but also to equip them with the skills to navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is essential.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Strong therapeutic skills, including the ability to motivate clients and foster a therapeutic alliance.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
