Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance use history, mental health status, and treatment needs.

• Creating personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and any underlying mental health disorders.
\n
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborating with the treatment team to ensure integrated care that meets the holistic needs of each client.
\n
• Educating and equipping clients' families with the necessary tools and knowledge to support their loved ones throughout the recovery process.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This population may also include clients dealing with co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Understanding and addressing the nuances of addiction will be critical to promoting long-term recovery and wellness for our clients.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
\n
• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field; however, a Master’s or doctoral degree is also highly desirable.

• Specialized training in addiction counseling is a plus.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
