Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for optimal work-life balance while delivering high-impact counseling services. Although much of the work will be conducted outside of traditional office settings, our counseling center provides a welcoming and structured outpatient facility for necessary in-person sessions. You will engage in regular case consultations with colleagues, leveraging a teamwork-oriented approach to refining client care strategies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to gain insights into clients' substance abuse histories and mental health conditions, utilizing tools to improve outcome measures.

• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at addressing both addictive behaviors and underlying psychological issues, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to instill coping strategies and encourage personal growth.

• Work collaboratively with an integrated healthcare team, including medical professionals and case managers, to ensure clients receive cohesive and consistent support throughout their recovery journey.

• Educate and support clients' families, fostering a collaborative approach that encourages family involvement in the recovery process and enhances relational dynamics.

• Maintain precise and confidential client records in alignment with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring accountability and transparency.

Our client base is primarily composed of individuals facing challenges with substance abuse and mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• Active and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment methodologies.

• Solid understanding of evidence-based practices for addressing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Exceptional therapeutic skills with a strong ability to build rapport and motivate clients towards positive change.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to enable effective teamwork within the treatment team.
