Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify clients’ substance abuse patterns and associated mental health disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans which address both addiction and any underlying mental health issues, incorporating goals that the client sets together with you.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to foster recovery.

• Collaborate proactively with fellow treatment team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists, to ensure a seamless and integrated care experience.

• Provide education and resources for clients’ families, engaging them in the recovery process to boost support systems.

• Maintain up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse clientele experiencing substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health conditions. You will engage with individuals who may be at various stages in their recovery journey, from those just beginning to confront their addiction to those progressing towards maintaining sobriety and stability. Your work will have a direct impact on improving their mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD is mandatory.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
