Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, with an emphasis on utilizing telehealth technologies to reach clients where they are most comfortable. You will participate in a collaborative virtual setting alongside physicians, case managers, and other therapists, ensuring streamlined communication and effective treatment planning. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history, mental health status, and individual treatment needs.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that comprehensively address both addiction challenges and underlying mental health disorders.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to engage clients in their recovery process.

• Collaborate closely with fellow treatment team members, including physicians and nurses, to ensure an integrated approach to client care that optimally supports recovery.

• Provide education and support to clients’ families, enhancing their understanding and involvement in the recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential records in adherence to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance in all documentation.

• Actively participate in team meetings and continue to expand your knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including those who face co-occurring mental health issues alongside substance use disorders. Our treatment center serves individuals from various backgrounds, each with unique challenges. Your role is critical in facilitating their recovery and helping them to establish sustainable, healthy lifestyles.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Demonstrated expertise and experience in addiction counseling with a focus on evidence-based practices.

• Strong therapeutic skills, with the ability to build rapport and motivate clients.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within outpatient settings, particularly with clients in recovery from substance use disorders.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
