Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments of clients to ascertain their mental health and substance use needs, followed by ongoing evaluations throughout treatment.

• Developing, implementing, and regularly updating individualized treatment plans that are based on evidence-based practices and assessment findings.
\n
• Delivering individual, group, and family therapy sessions that provide therapeutic support and promote recovery and personal development.
\n
• Maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation as mandated by state regulations and organizational policy, ensuring continuity of care.
\n
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team, which may include psychiatrists, physicians, and social workers, to ensure the highest quality of care for clients.

• Participating in case reviews and treatment planning meetings, contributing insights regarding client progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.

• Providing crisis intervention services, demonstrating skills in de-escalation and immediate support when clients face acute challenges.

• Staying informed about current trends and advancements in mental health and substance abuse treatment, and integrating new approaches into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position is focused on serving diverse populations struggling with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our clients may present varying levels of need, from those seeking ongoing support in their recovery to individuals in crisis. As a counselor, your insights, empathy, and expertise will be invaluable in guiding clients through their therapeutic journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a mental health counselor in the State of Washington is essential.

• At least 2 years of experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services in a clinical or rehabilitative setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
