Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to understand the substance abuse history and mental health status of clients.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that target both addiction issues and underlying mental health conditions.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s needs.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and address the diverse needs of clients effectively.

• Educate and encourage family involvement in the recovery process to foster a supportive home environment.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring that client documentation reflects ongoing progress and treatment adjustments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with individuals facing challenges related to substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent doctoral degree (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training or equivalent experience in addiction counseling and treatment.

• Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based practices for addressing substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• Strong counseling and therapeutic skills, with demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate clients toward positive changes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience in a substance abuse treatment setting is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
