Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' substance abuse history and mental health conditions, ensuring accurate evaluation and understanding of their unique treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and any underlying mental health conditions, ensuring an inclusive approach to care.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to facilitate engagement and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work with a diverse client population at various stages of substance abuse recovery. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
