Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' eating disorders and any co-occurring mental health conditions to determine individual treatment needs and goals.

• Develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

• Facilitate weekly therapy sessions, focusing on nuanced therapy techniques to unpack clients' beliefs about body image, food, and self-worth.

• Guide clients in practicing healthy coping strategies and emotional regulation tools to combat disordered eating behaviors and foster resilience.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with the treatment team to deliver holistic care that targets all aspects of clients' well-being.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families to cultivate a nurturing recovery environment, emphasizing understanding and support.

• Maintain diligent documentation regarding client progress, treatment plans, and therapy notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education to refine your therapeutic skills and knowledge specific to eating disorder interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients battling eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, and binge-eating disorder. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, helping them navigate the complexities of their mental health challenges while promoting healthier relationships with food and self-image.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must possess a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Kansas.

• Adequate training and experience in facilitating evidence-based therapies specifically targeting eating disorders.

• In-depth understanding of the multifaceted nature of eating disorders and associated co-occurring conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and specialization.
