This position offers a flexible work setting that combines remote telehealth services with occasional in-person sessions at our outpatient facility. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health to identify the specific needs and challenges they face.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating best practices and evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each patient's needs.

• Regularly engage with clients, providing ongoing therapy sessions to support their journey of recovery and personal development.

• Utilize crisis intervention techniques and strategies to support clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, making referrals to psychiatrists or specialized services when necessary, to provide holistic care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes within our EHR system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and eating-related issues. Your ability to build rapport with different demographics will be vital in fostering an inviting therapeutic alliance and achieving optimal treatment outcomes. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) in Kansas.

• A minimum of four years of related experience in mental health counseling and therapy.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and culturally informed therapeutic practices.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in challenging clinical situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the building of positive therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
