The Gentle Care Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position allows for the flexibility of working from home while engaging with clients through our outpatient facility. This position is entirely remote, providing you with the opportunity to manage your work-life balance while still maintaining close contact with patients via secure online platforms. You will leverage electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress and coordinate care efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients’ mental health status and specific therapy needs.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that address client-specific issues, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive strategies to engage clients effectively.

• Regularly monitor clients’ progress and adapt treatment interventions based on their evolving needs and circumstances.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated care for your clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment strategies, and resources available within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorders, and eating disorders. Our patients come from all walks of life, and as such, you will need to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that each client feels heard and valued.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• A solid understanding of various mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct individual and group therapy with a strong focus on cultural competence.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and a strong aptitude for utilizing technology in client management.

• Commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Effective teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
