Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each individual's situation.

• Provide ongoing therapy sessions to individuals and families, utilizing evidence-based practices to address various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, empowering them with the knowledge and tools required to navigate their mental health journeys.

• Coordinate care by connecting clients with community resources, including educational programs, support groups, and rehabilitation services, ensuring comprehensive support beyond therapy sessions.

• Document clinical progress accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to legal and ethical standards regarding patient confidentiality and record-keeping.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and stakeholders involved in the client’s care to facilitate holistic treatment approaches.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training, supervision, and consultation to stay abreast of new treatment methodologies and advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children, adolescents, and their families, offering tailored mental health care to meet the unique needs of this population. You will work with diverse clients who may be experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral issues requiring empathetic and informed support. Your role is critical in fostering a safe space for clients to express themselves, overcome challenges, and develop healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of California.

• A minimum of two years' experience providing therapeutic services in a clinical setting focused on mental health.

• Deep understanding of mental health theories, including personality development, individual differences, and abnormal behaviors.

• Familiarity with interview techniques and an awareness of current trends and best practices in mental health counseling.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Specialized training in trauma-informed care or behavioral interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
