Work Environment\nThis role is designed for a full-time licensed mental health counselor working in a remote environment, allowing flexibility and convenience for both the counselor and clients. While team collaboration is integral, you will also have the independence of managing your caseload. Our outpatient office setting is supportive and engaging, allowing for direct, positive interactions with clients and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Engage directly with assigned clients, providing individualized assessment and treatment plans based on their unique mental health needs. \n
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to achieve shared goals, ensuring an integrated approach to client care. \n
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services, responding promptly and effectively to emergencies in a professional manner. \n
- Carry a comprehensive caseload where you are responsible for ongoing client assessment and treatment compliance. \n
- Participate in on-call duties, offering support during and after program hours as needed. \n
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by actively participating in committees focused on enhancing service delivery. \n
Our patients consist of diverse individuals primarily struggling with major mental illnesses and emotional disorders. You will work with clients from varied backgrounds, respecting and incorporating their unique traditions and beliefs into the treatment process. The counselor's role is pivotal in supporting clients through their recovery journeys, addressing their complexities with sensitivity and professionalism.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required. \n
- Current licensure as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California. \n
- A minimum of three years of experience in a mental health counseling setting is essential to provide the depth of care required by our clients. \n
- Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, risk assessment, and crisis management for assigned populations. \n
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to foster clear, professional interactions with clients and team members. \n
- Exceptional organizational and planning abilities, enabling you to manage your caseload responsibly and efficiently. \n

- Experience in outpatient mental health treatment, including familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices. \n
- Prior involvement in quality improvement projects or committees within a healthcare or mental health setting. \n
The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a company-matched 401(k) plan, paid time off, and sick time pay.
