Embrace Life Behavioral Health Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. In this full-time role, you will provide essential support and specialized mental health care to individuals impacted by trauma, including those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders.

Work Environment\n

As a fully remote organization utilizing telehealth technology, we provide flexibility and convenience for both our staff and patients. Our virtual setting enables you to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes, ensuring accessibility to those who may otherwise face barriers to receiving care. Our team operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the unique histories and needs of patients seeking therapy.
\n
• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate therapeutic progress.
\n
• Engage in individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic support to each patient.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding and resilience.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training to stay up-to-date with evolving best practices and trauma-informed care methodologies.

You will be working with a diverse population of patients who have experienced various forms of trauma and are in need of compassionate support. Our patient focus includes individuals grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in their recovery journey, enabling them to regain control of their lives and foster resilience.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma-focused therapies.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and the application of trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Although not required, the following experiences are preferred:

• Previous experience delivering trauma-focused therapy within a telehealth or remote setting.

• Knowledge and experience working within a multidisciplinary team.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with digital therapeutic tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer an attractive benefits package, including:
