Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the unique histories and specific needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process trauma, build coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and coordinated patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective care response.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
