Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand the patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement comprehensive individualized treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery and the promotion of resilience.

• Provide an array of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing trauma experiences, developing effective coping mechanisms, and fostering overall healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses the complex needs of trauma survivors.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance is available when needed.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available to support recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation compliant with state and federal guidelines, ensuring the integrity of patient information.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population consists of individuals dealing with the aftermath of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a therapist in our practice, you will be instrumental in guiding these individuals through their recovery processes, ensuring they feel heard, validated, and supported throughout their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Requires a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment options.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapies is a significant plus.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and provide immediate support to patients in crisis.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, willing to engage actively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
