Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and guide the development of personalized treatment strategies.

• Create and implement comprehensive treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, integrating techniques that build resilience and foster emotional well-being.

• Utilize recognized therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver impactful interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions where patients can process their trauma, learn coping mechanisms, and embark on a path towards healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support to patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, or LSCSW in the state of Kansas.

• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in trauma-informed practices and treatment modalities specific to trauma-related disorders.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities, exhibiting a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor in all interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
