Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, utilizing a comprehensive approach to evaluate each patient's trauma history and current mental health status.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) tailored to the specific needs of your patients.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to provide a supportive space for patients to process their trauma, gain coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and streamline treatment options for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies and assist patients in navigating immediate challenges.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, fostering a deeper understanding of treatment processes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements while utilizing advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A valid Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
