Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine optimal therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that promote recovery from trauma and encourage resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process their trauma experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Engage in direct collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to support ongoing recovery.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation that aligns with legal and ethical standards, ensuring clarity and accountability in patient care.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed methodologies.

• Stay informed of the latest advancements in trauma therapy and integrate new techniques into your practice as appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clinic focuses on fostering a trauma-informed care approach that respects the unique experiences of each patient, allowing them to feel seen, heard, and validated throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Demonstrable expertise in trauma-informed practices and familiarity with trauma-related disorders.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-specific interventions and therapies.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Competency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably focused on trauma recovery.

• Experience conducting group therapy sessions and facilitating support groups for trauma survivors.

Compensation and Benefits\n
