Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and identify appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting techniques to meet individual patient needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses the complexities of each patient's situation.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, employing strategic de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety and emotional stability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on supporting trauma survivors, including those dealing with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. Many of our clients may have experienced complex trauma or have dissociative disorders, so a profound understanding of trauma-informed approaches is essential. You will play a pivotal role in guiding these individuals through their recovery processes, fostering resilience and promoting overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with an emphasis on trauma-informed care.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities that promote recovery and resilience.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, with a calm and empathetic approach.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with remote therapy tools.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
