Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that are trauma-informed, evaluating each patient’s unique trauma history to determine effective treatment strategies.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans focused on assisting patients in their trauma recovery journey, integrating patient feedback into the therapeutic process.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe atmosphere where clients can openly express their feelings and explore coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to deliver integrated care tailored to the patient’s needs, ensuring all aspects of the patient's treatment are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate help and guidance in stressful situations.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available support mechanisms, empowering them to understand the resources available for recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client base includes individuals navigating the complexities of trauma-related disorders, particularly those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse range of patients seeking healing from various traumatic experiences, each requiring individualized approaches to therapy. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health therapy, with a focus on trauma recovery preferred.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapeutic approaches is a must, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of relevant experience is required, applicants with additional training in trauma-informed interventions, such as EMDR or TF-CBT, will be favored.
