The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center in Henderson, Nevada is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist, either LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW, with a focus on trauma recovery. Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while primarily serving clients in our outpatient office. You will benefit from a structured work schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patients’ schedules and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patient needs and establish appropriate therapeutic goals.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that promote trauma recovery, resilience, and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, creating therapeutic spaces where patients can safely process their trauma experiences and develop coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and resources for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely care.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to continuity of care.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, enhancing professional knowledge and refining trauma-informed care practices.

• Pursue ongoing professional development to remain informed about the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients at The Outlet are predominantly trauma survivors, including those facing challenges such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will directly impact these individuals' healing journeys, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship that encourages growth, resilience, and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
\n
• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach essential for effective therapy.

• Proficiency in maintaining electronic health records (EHR) and utilizing computer applications for documentation and case management.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in providing trauma-focused therapeutic services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
