Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ traumatic experiences and design tailored treatment strategies.

• Craft personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating a supportive space for patients to process their trauma and learn coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on adults who have experienced various forms of trauma, including physical and emotional abuse, combat-related stress, or life-altering events. Our practice is especially equipped to support individuals dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, applying trauma-informed principles to foster a healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on trauma modalities preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
