Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history and collaboratively determine the most effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal growth tailored to each patient's specific needs.

• Offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including specialized methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Provide compassionate individual and group therapy sessions that assist patients in processing their trauma, refining coping mechanisms, and fostering a pathway to healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and fellow mental health professionals to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and effective response to acute situations.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses and available resources, enhancing their ability to actively participate in their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring comprehensive patient records and compliance.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to further enhance trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those struggling with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and various dissociative disorders. Many of our patients may face unique challenges related to their backgrounds, equipping you with the opportunity to employ a wide range of therapeutic techniques to meet diverse needs effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in Nevada.
\n
• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and experience with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring patient safety and care.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications related to clinical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
