Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma history and determine suitable treatment strategies.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and promote pathways to healing.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all clients, including crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their resilience and recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that meets all legal and ethical standards in mental health programming.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in case consultations, team meetings, and training focused on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a vital role in supporting these clients on their healing journeys, providing them with specialized care tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW within the state of California.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably within a clinical or counseling setting.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities, including resilience-building strategies.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated through a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, reflecting our clinic's commitment to supportive care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with standard computer applications relevant to mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
