Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and establish effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery, enhancing emotional resilience, and empowering clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver impactful individual and group therapy sessions.

• Engage directly with clients to help them process traumatic experiences, cultivate coping mechanisms, and foster emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care and ensure multidisciplinary treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possess current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, or LSCSW in the state of Kansas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.
