Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients' histories to determine the most effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and mental well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available resources, fostering a deeper understanding of their experiences.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily focuses on individuals affected by trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and other dissociative disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be instrumental in guiding these patients through their recovery journeys, utilizing personalized approaches to build resilience and support healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience post-licensure, with a preference for candidates demonstrating expertise in trauma-related disorders.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Able to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-stress situations.

• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, new hires will be welcomed with a sign-on bonus.
