This position operates within a fully remote telehealth framework, allowing therapists to efficiently provide care to clients from the comfort of their homes. Flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to accommodate clients' needs, with core hours from Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and determine appropriate treatment modalities.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, aiding clients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering a sense of hope and empowerment.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to provide integrated care tailored to address the complex needs of our clients.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure clients receive timely and effective assistance.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding of the healing process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical obligations.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed of emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our client demographic is diverse, requiring a therapist who is culturally competent and adaptable to each client's unique experiences and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth service delivery.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations while maintaining a focus on client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with trauma-impacted populations.
