Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma history and inform their individualized treatment plans.

• Developing and implementing precise treatment strategies tailored to foster trauma recovery and build resilience.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a supportive space where clients can process their trauma and learn effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm demeanor and professionalism under pressure.

• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available for ongoing support.

Your primary focus will be on clients dealing with the aftermath of traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Approximately two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a strong foundation in trauma-related disorders.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused interventions, with excellent communication skills to facilitate client engagement and rapport.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with advanced training in trauma-informed treatment modalities, experience in group therapy facilitation, and familiarity with electronic health record systems will be highly regarded.
