Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify patients' needs, strengths, and barriers, developing tailored treatment plans that address their unique situations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions across various modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to effectively support individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to enhance coping skills and foster community among clients facing similar challenges.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure cohesive and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and interventions during mental health emergencies to help stabilize patients and redirect them towards appropriate resources.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, management strategies, treatment options, and relevant community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring high-quality record-keeping within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
