Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, and develop customized treatment plans tailored to each individual's circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy services to individuals, groups, and families, employing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and supportive therapy.

• Collaborate with case managers, psychiatrists, and fellow therapists to ensure integrated and coordinated care that optimally supports the client’s journey to recovery.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and emergency protocols as necessary.
\n
• Engage in community outreach efforts, organizing workshops and educational programs to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with a diverse patient population that includes adults and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. This role is vital in ensuring that all clients receive individualized, culturally competent care that respects their unique backgrounds and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and foster therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Demonstrate cultural competence to effectively work with a diverse clientele and adapt therapeutic approaches to meet various cultural needs.

• Showcase superior organizational and time-management skills to maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.
