This position is housed within our community health clinic, designed for an outpatient treatment model that emphasizes a supportive and positive culture. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our center, you will engage in various therapeutic activities tailored to young adults aged 18 to 30. Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: You will lead engaging group therapy sessions that foster peer connection, allowing clients to share experiences and support one another in a structured environment.

• Conducting Individual Therapy: You will provide personalized therapeutic support, guiding clients through their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while helping them to develop effective coping strategies and personalized action plans.

• Treatment Planning: You will collaborate with clients to design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that strategically address their unique needs and preferences, integrating input from multidisciplinary team members.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and document clients' progress using standardized assessment tools and feedback sessions to highlight areas of improvement and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse multidisciplinary team, sharing insights, coordinating care, and consulting on complex cases to maximize client outcomes and ensure comprehensive treatment delivery.

Your primary focus will be on young adults between the ages of 18 to 30 dealing with a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandated, candidates with experience in group therapy facilitation, crisis intervention, or specialized training in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be highly regarded. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and telehealth practices will also be beneficial.
