Work Environment\n

This position allows you to work remotely while also being a part of a collaborative outpatient office setting. Our outpatient facility is open Monday through Saturday, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively. To facilitate seamless patient care, you will benefit from in-house credentialing that enables efficient insurance participation and appointment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, identifying unique challenges and strengths to inform tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize graduate-level clinical social work and counseling interventions that align with the individual needs of each patient, while ensuring timely and ethical documentation.

• Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including regularly attending meetings and patient rounds to communicate progress, treatment updates, and care coordination strategies.

• Administer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities to aid patients in achieving their individualized service goals, fostering self-awareness and personal growth.

• Oversee case management duties for assigned patients, liaising with community professionals and programs to ensure comprehensive care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.

• Exhibit a profound knowledge of care needs across the lifespan, heedful of the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety requirements of all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Safe Harbor Therapeutic Center, our diverse client population includes adolescents, adults, and families from various backgrounds presenting a wide spectrum of mental health needs. Your role as a licensed counselor will involve addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges through empathetic and culturally sensitive interventions. Your contributions will be integral to creating a supportive and understanding space for clients to explore their mental health and achieve their personal objectives.

Qualifications\n

• Candidates must possess a current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required.

• Mental health professionals must be willing to work flexible hours, with the capacity to conduct up to 40 therapy sessions per week or more based on client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
