Our counseling center operates within a community health clinic framework, allowing for a collaborative and supportive remote work environment. We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible scheduling within a Monday to Friday workweek, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, accommodating the varying needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each patient and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their goals and values.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups focused on common mental health issues, fostering a sense of community and connection among participants.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, engaging in case consultations and active participation in team meetings to ensure holistic and coordinated care for all patients.

• Create and implement crisis intervention strategies for patients experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring prompt and effective support.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, helping them navigate their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all interactions, following legal and ethical standards to protect patient information.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, including experience with evidence-based approaches.
