Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility and a healthy work-life balance. You will be able to work during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to determine the severity and characteristics of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet their individual needs and goals.

• Implement evidence-based intervention techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address client challenges.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment processes, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on therapeutic efficacy and client feedback.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive holistic care.

• Stay current with the latest research and methods in mental health, particularly around mood disorders, to enhance treatment quality.

• Maintain strict adherence to legal and ethical standards in documenting patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to refine therapeutic strategies and share insights with peers.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders and promoting mental health awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals experiencing mood disorders. This includes various demographic groups, from adolescents to seniors, each with unique backgrounds and needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida is mandatory.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Strong collaborative skills for working within interdisciplinary teams and effective communication skills for client interaction.

• A passion for client advocacy and a commitment to promoting mental health awareness and education.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a telehealth capacity is highly valued, particularly with electronic medical records systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
