Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status, establishing a holistic understanding of their needs and challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Living Free Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including those experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their healing journeys, empowering them to create sustainable changes in their lives. You will also address issues specific to individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent and sensitive care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or similar in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience providing mental health services.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proven ability to provide both individual and group therapy through culturally responsive approaches.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with a calm demeanor under challenging circumstances.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Living Free Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive salary range between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
