This position is a remote role that primarily operates from the comfort of your own home. However, you will collaborate closely with a passionate team, offering outpatient counseling services. The regular workweek is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a consistent schedule that allows for work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to assess the mental health needs of trauma patients and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Listen attentively to patients’ concerns, diagnosing mental or emotional disorders accurately to guide the clinical process.

• Implement effective coping strategies and therapeutic interventions to assist patients in navigating their emotional struggles and fostering resilience.

• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Educate both patients and staff on effective stress management and trauma coping mechanisms, promoting a holistic approach to mental health.

• Collaborate with social and medical agencies as well as community outreach programs to ensure patients receive comprehensive care and access to essential resources.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and stay abreast of the latest practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be with patients recovering from trauma-related injuries. You will assist individuals who face significant mental and emotional obstacles as a result of various life events. Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing counseling to trauma patients, demonstrating an understanding of trauma-informed care.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to utilize technology effectively in a remote work setting.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective patient interactions and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
