Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather relevant patient history and identify appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on healing trauma and fostering resilience, tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing space for patients to process their experiences and acquire coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care approaches for all patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all clients.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to assist in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities, consistently emphasizing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research, treatment methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work directly with individuals impacted by various trauma exposure, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related psychological challenges. Our patient population often includes diverse backgrounds and experiences, and it is essential that you adopt a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to care that respects the unique narratives of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential, along with the ability to apply these in practice effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships with patients and work collaboratively with team members.

• Calmness and composure in high-stress situations, ensuring effective crisis management and support for clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications is required to maintain efficient patient records.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred, we are open to passionate candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to trauma-informed care. Prior experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
