Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s trauma history and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans centered around trauma recovery and strengthening resilience.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

  • Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions designed to support patients as they process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and move towards recovery.

  • Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

  • Provide crisis intervention support in trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness and efficiency.

  • Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and healthy coping strategies.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation compliant with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population of clients ranging from adolescents to adults who have encountered various traumatic experiences. Our primary focus is on helping individuals manage and recover from trauma-related disorders ensuring that all therapeutic approaches are grounded in empathy and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
  • \n
  • A clear understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities that promote resilience and healing.

Preferred Experience\n

  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on trauma therapy.

  • Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and support.

  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
