Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gather detailed information about patients’ trauma histories, needs, and goals for treatment.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at empowering clients in their recovery journey, incorporating therapeutic methodologies tailored to their specific situations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and resilience.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging clients to express their feelings, challenges, and triumphs as they process their trauma.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health care providers to ensure an integrated approach to each client's care while monitoring treatment effectiveness.

• Offer crisis intervention support, providing immediate assistance during trauma-related emergencies as needed.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and constructive coping strategies, equipping them with tools to navigate their experiences.

• Ensure up-to-date, accurate, and confidential documentation of client interactions, complying with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional training to continually enhance your knowledge and skills in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele primarily consists of individuals impacted by various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse, veterans, and those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. You will play a vital role in supporting these individuals as they navigate their challenges and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of trauma-informed care.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and established treatment modalities for trauma recovery.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in all client interactions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the capability to adapt to digital therapeutic tools efficiently.

• A team player who can work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes.
