Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and trauma experiences, ensuring accurate identification of needs.

• Provide therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that support patients in working through their trauma and developing healthy coping strategies.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

• Respond proactively to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention to clients facing trauma-related challenges.

• Educate patients and family members on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for additional support.

• Document patient interactions meticulously in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experienced interpersonal capabilities, characterized by a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
