As a licensed mental health therapist in our outpatient facility, you will work remotely, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with your clients. Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a variety of core functions:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma backgrounds and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on facilitating trauma recovery and fostering resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in processing their trauma.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients develop coping strategies and promoting their healing journeys.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies as they arise.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality is prioritized.

• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities focused on ongoing training in trauma-informed care and best practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance the quality of care offered.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, enabling you to provide meaningful interventions to help them navigate their emotional responses and rebuild their lives. You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including those grappling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and related mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients.
\n
• Adeptness in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools for patient management.
\n
• Ability to function well under pressure, maintaining composure in high-stress situations.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, willing to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be seen as advantageous:

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
