Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge clients’ trauma histories, while identifying appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process traumatic experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and foster emotional wellness.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all clients.

• Respond to crisis situations with sensitivity and professionalism to offer immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, and other trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
