Work Environment\n

This remote position provides the flexibility to support patients from the comfort of their own homes. Our telehealth facility allows therapists to engage with patients through secure video conferencing, ensuring that high-quality care is accessible regardless of geographical limitations. While we maintain a standard schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility in hours may be necessary based on patient needs, facilitating a personalized approach to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' histories and identify specific treatment needs.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma healing, resilience-building, and coping strategies tailored to each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address trauma symptoms.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a patient-centered approach to help clients process their experiences and navigate their recovery journeys.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and self-management.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that aligns with ethical and legal standards while supporting patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals navigating the complexities of trauma, including but not limited to survivors of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic events. Our clientele may present with a wide range of mental health conditions related to trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and associated dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure in the state of New Jersey as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting, with a focus on trauma recovery preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and education.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Capability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations, demonstrating strong crisis management skills.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications to maintain accurate documentation and treatment records.

Compensation and Benefits\n
