Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and establish appropriate treatment strategies.

• Craft individualized treatment plans that focus on recovery, resilience-building, and skill development tailored to each client’s needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at empowering patients to work through their trauma, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and foster a supportive community.

• Engage in collaborative case consultations with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic and integrated care for our patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support for patients during critical trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Provide education to patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance trauma-informed practices within the organization.

• Stay informed about the latest methodologies in trauma therapy through training, literature, and professional discourse.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on helping individuals who are navigating the complex aftermath of trauma, including those working through PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Our clientele comes from diverse backgrounds, and your empathetic approach will play a critical role in providing personalized support that fosters healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly in trauma-focused work.

Compensation and Benefits\n
